”Summer MEDIA Studio” is an international film workshop and aims to train European Union Film students. Over the years, the workshop has developed a good structure for intensive training: two-week workshop includes theoretical part – lectures taught by internationally renowned professionals, and practical part – filming in international crews. The workshop gives an opportunity for students to improve professional and personal skills, expand their vision, learn new ways of doing, and uncover talents.

The project is being coordinated by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with the support of the MEDIA Training Programme of the European Community. International project pedagogical and financial partners – Helsinki Metropolia University (Finland), Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia), National Academy for Theatre & Film Arts NATFA (Bulgaria) contributes to the development of the concept and the training activities of the “Summer MEDIA Studio 2010”.
